James is a highly motivated person. His goal is to become a professional tennis player and play Davis Cup for Great Britain. He enjoys representing his club or county in team competitions. Being part of a team aiming to win together is even more satisfying and rewarding than just playing in singles events for James. He has played a lot of doubles from a young age and his game is suited to doubles play.
His goal in the next 12 months is to get his national U18 ranking to no 1 in the UK. He can then fulfil one of his ambitions of playing Junior Wimbledon.
